"I have the privilege of calling this amazing man my Grandpa. He was not only a caring, gentle, loving person but he was also one of the strongest men I have ever encountered. He was a proud husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather...but was also a very proud veteran. Happy Veterans Day to you in heaven Grandpa. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and miss you."
