Tributes
Leave a tributeI am sitting here full of tears 12 years later… As I’m reading everyone’s beautiful messages to you, all I can think about is how I didn’t get enough time with you. I was too young to listen to your preachings, but I sure do cherish the memories I do have with you. I actually heard we got to spend quite a lot of time together while the girls were on Broadway. I remember us playing the clarinet together… I blew and you played. Gosh, what I would do for one extra day with you and Nana now that I could actually use your wise words and advice. Thankfully, I have our family to remind me, but you two really knew how to preach! I love you so much and miss you dearly! I can’t believe 12 years has already gone by since you passed and I only knew you for 11. Sending all my love up above to you today! <3

Not many others have inspired me the way you did. You had a very powerful influence on my life and will continue to for the rest of my life. You were there for me when I needed someone to guide me in the right direction at a very pivotal point in my life when I was only 18 years old. You encouraged me to follow my dreams, think big, and reach my full potential while experiencing life and learning from the process. Each word you shared with me was always intended for learning some of life's most precious lessons. Failure is never a final destination, only a learning experience to change the approach and keep moving. I am proud of how far I have come since the times we would sit and talk about my future. Although I wish we could still have some of those talks, I am extremely fortunate for the ones that we did. You were an endless source of wisdom and I truly appreciate everything that you shared with me. I finally made it to Los Angeles, the city where you ended up. Being here makes me feel more connected to you and I know you are there watching from heaven. I promise to stay in communication through spirit and I know you will to continue to guide me in the right direction. We still have a long way to go and I am eager to see what the future has in store. Thank you for everything, Unc. Enjoy your birthday and rest peacefully. We will talk soon. Love, Mick

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you and long for your presence again in our lives. We know you're in such a better home worry-free and disease-free and we look forward to day of reuniting. Until then we press on with our goals and purpose in life. We love you sooo much and always will....You were the REAL DEAL
So hard to believe that your earthly tent isn't here anymore but the most beautiful thing in the world was watching you grow soooooo close to Jesus through your trial on this earth and seeing your Spirit soar so high despite the physical discomfort/pain. My hero. You had the big vision the whole time (eternal destiny with Jesus)
I just want to tell you Happy Fathers Day again this year! We miss you sooooo much!! I have so much to tell you so I'll put it on the story page! XOXO

who really was a friend. I felt his frustrations of not
being able to talk, but he was a fast printer and we
communicated very well. He is and always will be a
friend. Please believe me when I tell you that he was
so very proud of his family. He truly was a teacher to
all of those who had any contact with him. Love, Jeanette.

Jam Session
Unc,
My whole existence with you was like the best jam session ever. Whether weilding an instrument I barely knew how to play or listening to one of your stories on Uncle Dave's back porch I realized that you lived your life like a true troubadour!
Just recently I want you to know that me (Anthony David Rasicci and Joseph Palmer Rasicci) shared a jam session listening to records in my mother's basement. As we picked through the record selections including classic 70's and 80's LPs, we spent the day jamming out to great music. In this classic unwitnessed day, we stumbled upon Doc Palmer's finest work ever laid down on wax. That song that we played over and over again was "Still Hot from the Last Time Baby"...honest to God Uncle Palmer was ahead of his time. Leaving behind his golden trademark, his thick and rich voice which I constantly compare to a more soulful version of Barry White (if that's even possible), it will live on forever in my heart!!!
Beyond that record that has brought me so much joy it's his voice I will never forget! Do you remember the time the whole family attempted to make a commercial featuring the song "Don't Worry Be Happy" These are words that I will truly try to live by in my next thirty years!!! The other musical memories I have of Unc include his saxophone playing at the Washington house, and the times he would sit at the Piano at Uncle Dave's and Aunt Bonnie's and scat soulful Jazz and Blues classics or anything that sounded fun. Unc was the king of freestyle and improvisation, I'm sorry this was written so long after your passing, but I didn't know how to express these words at that time.
Thanks for being there for my brother Dante', mother Dianna, myself, and Justina throughout all of the years, I love you so much, and I can't wait to see you and the rest of the Rasicci/Restaneo gang up in heaven again reunited someday!
Love, Peace, and most importantly Italian Grease!!!

Happy Father's Day
Hey Bub,
I just want to tell you Happy Fathers Day again this year! Our daughters are amazing! Everything has been so busy with the girls EP coming out! The new songs they wrote are chart toppers! The media has been picking up I hope you can see all these magazines like J-14 http://www.j-14.com/2011/06/j-14-hot-band-alert-pixikill.html and Teen Vogue. AND Guess WHat.... AOL is featuring Pixikill on the AOL Listening Party starting tomorrow...... I am so proud of our girls! They are still totally unaffected by media and stay true to who they are! We have been so blessed to have children like this! I love you Bubba and miss you so much!!!
