Dreama Ann Taylor

Dreama Ann Taylor, a community advocate of North Matewan, W.Va., born September 24, 1955 in Williamson, W.Va. a daughter of the late Donald and Eva Irene Burgraff Taylor departed this life on Monday morning July 4, 2016, at the St. Mary’s Medical Center of Huntington, WV at the age of 60.  Dreams was known for her generous ability to connect with people who were in need of food, furniture, clothes, and even shelter.  Her nature of giving and compassion and her ability to connect people with the correct agencies in their time of need was a talent that Dreama displayed on a daily basis.

In addition to her parents, those that precede Dreama in death include her fur babies whom she loved as her very own children, Sassy Jane, Phoebe Grace, and Abigail Noel.

Dreama was a social worker and an assistant administrator, having worked for Mingo Manor, which is now Trinity Health Care of Williamson, W.Va. until she had to retire due to her health. She also was a member of the North Matewan Church of Christ.

Dreama is lovingly remembered and cherished by sisters Bonnie Varney of Warren, MI, Donna Wilhite of North Matewan, W.Va.; Diane Murphy of Newtown, W.Va.; nieces Tami Sorgi and her husband John, Teri Wolfe and her husband Mark, Renee Varney, and Kristie Ball and her husband Johnny; great niece and nephew whom she loved as her grandchildren Jenna and Kouper Ball; additional great nieces and nephews whom she loved also are as follows Keith and Scott Witting, Mark and Danielle Wolfe, and Kelly Bowling.

Dreama is also survived by a host of loving cousins, neighbors, and a community of friends who will love and miss her kind and giving spirit and a special thanks to the Medical ICU staff of St. Mary's and also to Nancy Beasley for her time and compassionate care while we were unable to attend.

Honoring services will be held in her honor on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chambers Funeral Services, Inc. with Bro. Jesse Spaulding officiating.

Burial will follow at the Buskirk Cemetery of Buskirk, Ky.

Family will begin receiving friends on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
