Today is 5 years...I can't believe he's been gone for 5 years. I can't believe that I've been able to exist for 5 years on this earth without Earl. Next week he would have been 65. Retirement. Beginning a new phase of our lives together. So much left of life that we'll not have together. But, how blessed I am for all that we did have together...

Earl, My Husband

September 13, 2016

Earl was a very hard worker and owned a business for 15 years. He was the first one there each day and often worked late into the night. I would be at home and the phone would ring and Van Morrisons song"Have I told you lately" that I love you would be playing. I would listen and smile. When the song was over the phone would hang up. That was Earl's way of letting me know that, even while working into the night, he was thinking of me. He was one fine man.
