Earl Roger Johnson
January 11, 1940 - August 30, 2013

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.

Earl was born on January 11, 1940, to Elroy and Vera (Rice) Johnson in Chicago, IL.  He married Joanne M. Pallitto on April 2, 1961, in Newburyport, MA. They spent the first 45 years of their life together living in Wisconsin, and later moved to Arizona to enjoy their retirement. Earl served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1958-1962, after which he worked as a machinist for 30 years at the American Motors/Chrysler Corporation in Kenosha WI. Joan and Earl then owned and operated an independent gift shop in Grandview, Wisconsin for many years, before moving to Lake Havasu City, AZ.

Earl was adventurous and fun loving, and had a great sense of humor.  He enjoyed his many hobbies, including refurbishing and building custom motored bicycles, wood-working, and owning and operating a small clock repair business in his home town of Lake Havasu City, AZ.

Earl is survived by his loving family, including his wife of 52 years, Joan, his son, Greg Johnson of Lake Geneva, WI, and his daughter Yvonne Johnson Hanks of Portland, OR.

Earl also had two grandchildren, Ian and Erin Johnson.  Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Kenneth Johnson and one sister, Gail Rice.

Earl had a great many friends in life and will be sorely missed.
