Earl Lee Riley, 72, of Franklinton went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 27, 2011, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer . He was born May 8th 1939 to the late Walter and Jackson Riley and the late Ethel Lee Riley. He was a native of Granville County.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 30th at Eastside Baptist Church in Henderson by Rev. Aubrey Florence. Burial will be in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery in Oxford.
He is survived by his loving dedicated wife of 33 years, Darlene Currin Riley of the home , a son, Jackie Riley , a daughter, Denise Riley Norton and husband Dennis , two granddaughters, Lauren Riley Hatchel and husband Nathan and Elizabeth Rae Norton and great –grandchild Hunter Lewis , step granddaughters Stacie and Wendy Norton ; brother Thomas Riley and wife Dolly, sister Peggy Vaughn and husband Bruce of; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation 7:00 -8:30 PM Wednesday, June 29th at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times at 205 Wilson Street, Franklinton, NC 27525.
