It was wonderful to see Eddie's smiling face as I arrived at our office building at 180 Grand, Oakland for the past several years. He was a gentle-man and made everyone feel special. Eddie would share stories with me of the days when he was a musician, because we shared the love of music. I did not get a chance to say goodbye to him when he moved to Las Vegas, but he had talked about the time he would retire to Las Vegas. Just this morning I was going to ask George at the front desk if per chance he knew Eddie. I received the news of his passing later. I extend sincere condolences of the entire Union of American Physicians staff to the family and friends of Eddie Lee Hill. He made this world a better place.
