"Happy Earth Birthday Dad,
Every year we would celebrate our birthdays together and this year I most certainly miss our special time and feel like a huge part of me is missing, 60 years is a long time to share our special day! I cannot express how heavy my heart is because I miss you so very much. I know you are in a much happier place and no longer in pain and that gives me some comfort. You were the best Dad a girl could have and I am so grateful that we could spend some quality time together the last few years of your life. I remember last Thanksgiving how happy and excited you were to be with friends and family and celebrate your 90th birthday together, what a surprise it was that Eric, Robin and JoAnne could be here also. It was a wonderful day. I know in my heart that you are with all of us in spirit and when it comes time to blow out my birthday candles this year, I will be thinking of you.
I love you,
"Happy birthday on what would have been your 91st. You were the best most wonderful father in law I could have ever asked for and I miss you dearly. Soon Eric and I will be putting out your beautifully carved Santas on our mantle for Christmas and somehow I just know that you're up in heaven right now hard at work carving more!
Your daughter in law
"So many wonderful memories. Eds talents and all of his hard work around my country home will always be honored, admired, andloved! Forever missed love JoAnn"
"God Bless Ed and all who knew and loved him. I've left a short story and a picture for you all if you'll just click on the "Stories" tab entitled a "Gentle man with Gentle Hands."
