Ed was born to Richard and Birdina Grifa on November 15th, 1967.. Ed as a child was always a tough kid .. From his days of fighting in the golden gloves boxing program at the Naugatuck Ymca with his younger brother Tony right up to adulthood..

Ed always had a smile on his face and a heart bigger than he was.. He would help anyone he could.. His life wasnt always a smooth ride but he never gave up always a fighter.

Ed Loved and cherished his family always worrying about them and there well being. Proud and always cherishing his memories with his mom and dad.. his brother and sister. He had a beautiful daughter Chelsey who he was very proud of always no matter what.. Also a nephew desi who grew into a nice young man..

Ed was never happier than he was with his loving wife Brenda.. she made him smile and im sure he did the same for her.. he would always tell me how in love he was and that she was the one.. she stood by his side until the end until he couldnt fight any longer.. thank you Brenda..

Ed had a kind heart and was a proud and loving husband , son, father, brother, and grandfather... 

His many Bike rides with his wife brenda made him happy because it was always for charity to raise money for those in need.. That was Ed bigger than life heart!
