Uncle Brooks
There's so much i could say about you that i really don't know where to start. I'm very fortunate that i was one of the last people to spend time with you here in this temporary home we call earth. How can i ever forget my "Uncle Brooks?" Your vibrant personality and your way with words was 2nd to none. I learned so much from you about life here in your few months in Slidell, La. The thing i'm most at peace about is knowing that you went out your way. I can rememeber speaking with you over the phone about your dream of moving down to Louisiana to take advantage of the big time fishing and outdoors life. You always said "Matt i'm coming down soon to Slidell, so we can do some fishing. YOu got a place for me to live?" Well, i feel in my heart that you were in the place you wanted to be and that gives me a piece of mind. A piece of you will always be with me and you are a man i could never forget. I'll have countless stories to tell my future kids and grandkids about their late "Uncle Brooks." Many only got to know the tough "Give it to em raw" Ed, but i was fortunate enough to get both sides and to experience your big, loving heart and that in itself is enough for me! You lived life and you did it the way you wanted to. Until i see you again in one of those Golden Lakes up in heaven fishing for Croppy....I Love You!
