"My condolences go out to the family of Edward Ray Thompson.  It is very painful to lose a loved one in death. I didn't know Edward but I did want to extend my sympathy to the family. From reading about Edward, I can tell he was loved and will truly be missed.  It is comforting to know that in the future there is going to be a time when no one will say I am sick.  Sickness is going to be done away with.  Isaiah 33:24.  You might wonder, what about my dear loved one that has already fallen asleep in death?  Well God promises that there is going to be a resurrection.  That is in the Bible at John 5:28,29.  He also promises that he is going to completely do away with death forever.  Revelation 21:4.  I hope these scriptures will be comforting to you as they are to me.  If you have questions that you would like answers to. Please feel free to contact me, or go to the website www.jw.org.  You can find answers to any question you have."

"Ed and I were the closest two people could be.He meant everything to me and always will.I have 26 years of fond memories that I will never forget. He was the best thing that ever happened to me.The last words he said to me was that he loved me.I will cherish those words for the rest of my life.I was happy to be standing beside him and holding his hand when he passed. He passed peacefully.I was able to give him his last wishes and I was more than happy to do that for him he would of done that for me,That was the type of person Ed was.He thought of himself last.I love you Ed and miss you more than you know.Rest in peace you deserve it.Love you always and forever!!!"

"How do you sum up someone's life with a story ?  Ed has been in our family for ove 26 years. He helped Pop with farming , helped me with Coty when he was young, he shared things with the kids , enjoyed life !  We have so many good memories. Also some not so good ones as any family does. The good always out wieghs the bad. I am glad I was able to come and visit from time to time. Our last conversation he asked me where was Coty and if he had his baby ... when I was leaving that day I told him it looked like Christmas had found him , now Santa could ... he got worse before we could have our planned Christmas with him ....but I will always remember that smile he gave me that day ... I am honored that myself and Michael was able to be with him when he passed. It was a peaceful passing , an experience I will never forget. No more pain , no more suffering ....Ed is heavens newest Angel ...every time I have a glass of turkey hill tea and an italian sub I will think of him .......Cheryl"
