Her Life
March 10, 2016

Mrs. Few was born in Hogansville, Georgia on February 10, 1947, the daughter of the late Effie Lee Robinson Steele and Plea Jones. She was a Christian by faith, and was a graduate of the Georgia Beauty School in Doraville, Georgia. For most of her adult life she ran a beauty salon out of her home. She brought great joy to all the customers she served by creating lovely hair dos for each one. She loved working in her yard where she grew beautiful flowers. She looked forward to each spring, when her yard would burst forth with an array of gorgeous flowers of all varieties and colors. From the time of their origination she was in love with the Beanie Babies, so much so that her collection numbers over a thousand! Her children sing her praises as “the best mother in the world.” Her wonderful meals were always a time of great enjoyment for her family! They especially enjoyed her fried potatoes and sausage biscuits! Her love and devotion to her loved ones will live forever in their hearts.

She is survived by five daughters, Lisa Davenport of Franklin, GA., Ginger Fowler of Winder, GA., Janet Taylor, of Gainesville, GA., Donna Camp also of Gainesville, Ga., and Christina Moon of Commerce, GA.; six sons, Kenny Davenport (Becky) of Franklin, GA., Bill Davenport (Jo Ellen) also of Franklin, GA., Kevin Barrett (Karen) of Gainesville, GA., Keith Barrett of Pendergrass, GA., Eddie Few (Trudy) of Gainesville, GA., Jimmy Few of NJ.; two special adopted sons, Nicholas and Sabastian Bush of Franklin, GA.; thirty-three grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Josiah Few.
