This memorial website was created in memory of our beloved mother Elaine Phillips. We will remember her forever.

Age 94, of Canton, MA, December 15, 2022, born in the Bronx, NY, and previous resident of Braintree, MA and Massapequa Park, NY, loving mother survived by her five daughters Celeste Phillips, Laura Maddock (Tom), Penny Phillips (John Shand) Marcy McGourty (Ed) and Dody Timpone (Michael), 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Elaine devoted her life to taking care of and making a warm and inviting home for her late husband of 54 years, Jack Phillips, and her children and grandchildren.  She was a wonderful homemaker, the very best cook, and our constant guardian and confidant, no matter our age, and her advice and guidance was precious and wise, and she was always proven right.  She was ready with a helping hand to friends, neighbors and strangers alike, without waiting to be asked.  Her generosity of spirit and compassion for others served as an example and inspiration to all who knew her, and is one of her many enduring gifts to her family.  She will be greatly missed and always remembered with our abiding love and sincere gratitude.
