Dad, you are loved. I see you in my children and grandchildren. I was able to share my children with you and Rudy long ago, when we visited your home. I share my grandchildren with you in my heart. Children are a blessing sent from God above. Parents are ours forever no matter where they are. God has you in his tender hands. You are Loved ! From your daughter Elsie. I LOVE YOU

I came to know Eligio in his later years. I found him to be an interesting individual. Ben & I would visit him & Hilda on our frequent trips to Florida. They always made us feel welcomed. He spoke of God & family. Showed us his paintings, of which there were many. He was easy to love, & found a place in our hearts. Ben is so happy they had a chance to celebrate their birthdays together.

I will always remember how happy he was whenever we would visit. Whether I was a child or a grown woman with my own children, the first thing he always said was, "The pool is waiting for you." I also remember lying on the floor and viewing his slideshows of Germany and his loved ones. RIP Uncle Eligio.

As the youngest of Marina's daughters, I will forever remember the Peace & Happiness my mother carried upon her return from visiting Tio Eligio. I was always so proud to hear & speak of his creative artistic abilities & will treasure painting images of past photos taken, forever. I too will treasure my Sony Sailors hat! Uncle Eligio, I remember your visits to New York City, especially when you took us to Coney Island and bought us all candy and a sailors hat with our names. I remember your hugs. I will forever have you in my heart. Love always your niece.
