Her Life

She was a native of Henry Hill, Alabama located
in Bullock County. She was born to Winnie
and Sam Pearson.


Eliza Hunter united in Holy matrimony to
Moses Hunter in 1942. To this union, they were
blessed with nine children.


She confessed Christ at an early age and later
joined the Mount Hillard Baptist Church. She
later moved her membership to Town Creek
with her husband were served as a deaconess
until her health failed.


Eliza served as a homemaker and she attended
school in Town Creek. She loved her
friends and family and enjoyed touching the
lives of others as wells as flowers. She later
relocated to Cleveland, Ohio. After relocating
to Cleveland, Ohio, she joined FGNZ Baptist
Church on March 9, 2003 under Pastor Albert
Maiden leadership.


Eliza Hunter was preceded in death by her loving
husband, Moses Hunter; three children, Lula
Johnson, Austin Hunter and Idelia Walker. She
leaves behind cherishing memories to: Mildred
Ford Carter, Fort Lauderdale, FL, Ruby Hunter,
Kissimmee, FL, Ned Hunter, Cleveland, OH,
Moses Hunter, Jr., Forest Hunter and Dorothy
(George) Peterson; along with a host of twenty-
seven grandchildren, forty great-granchildren,
eight great-great-grandchildren,
nieces, nephews and two close friends.
