Her Life
December 1, 2012

On November 18, 2012 God gave her a call and said I need you here with me; I have work for you to do. Her parents and four siblings have preceded her in death.

The era of time Ella was born in did not offer many opportunities. Life was not easy. Ella's education was very little. She was met with many difficult challenges. In spite of these challenges, she grew to be a woman of courage and wisdom.

Ella married at the young age of 18 and became a mother shortly afterward. She gave birth to three giris, Willie Pearl, Dothy and JoAnn.

Ella was a woman of great strength.  She worked  long and hard days  as a custodian  and  stood  for  long  hours  ironing  large baskets  of clothes, making very little money. She scrubbed tubs of clothes by hand to keep her children clean. Using an ax she chopped down trees for fire wood to warm the house. This fine woman is an unsung hero. She touched many lives with kind words. She was a hero, mentor and a provide to her three daughters. Ella Jived a quiet life, loved her children  and grandchildren.

She visited a few friends and loved spending quality time with her older sister, Louise  McKinney  who  often  visited  her. She  disliked  the north,  large crowds and garlic. Her final years were confined to Goodwater Healthcare Center where all grew to know and Jove her. She loved to be hugged and often asked everyone that passed her by to give her a hug. Hugs made her happy and she felt loved from those active in her daily life.

She  leaves  in  loving  memories:  Willie  Pearl  Daniels,  Dothy Carlisle, Joann Young, Angela Martin, Stephanie Daniels, Latrice Brown, LaTonya McQueen, Orlando Daniels, Tyrus Brown, Jarius Brown, Quantari Samuels, Tamyya Samuels, Ja'Shyla Shorter, Akaris Daniels and Skylynn Daniels. Extended family: Albert Daniels, Samuel Carlisle, Winston Brown and Dexter Martin.

She leaves to memories:  three sisters,  flock of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
