Ellen was such a fine lady. I originally met her on her massage table, and we grew to become friends. Ellen was truly an intuitive healer and a generous and caring lady. She was a very special person and I was fortunate to consider her a friend.

Rest in peace my friend.

I didn't really know Ellen that well, but I am forever grateful for what she has given me. She gave two life long friends that I love dearly, one was Beth, her daughter and the other was her grandson, "Mav".  I believe, that in itself, is a tribute to the kind of woman Ellen was. We only heard good things in regards to her as a mom and so much more.

I gave many IV's to Ellen while she was a patient at Dr. Ucci's office. We had enjoyable times during those sessions. Ellen also gave me my very first massage, another entertaining (and helpful) experience that got me hooked on body work. Thank you for making me smile, Ellen. May you rest in peace now.

My Mom was an amazing women with a heart as big as all outdoors. How appropriate is the song "My Way". She was a wonderful Mother, Sister, Daughter, Friend, Healer, Teacher, and so much more. Thank you Mom for all that you have given me in this lifetime and for caring for me when I was fighting for my life. I love you lot's! I will miss you everyday. Rest in peace, you deserve it! :-)

Ellen was a shining example of love and light! I met her as the Grandmother of my sweetheart, but she was unlike any Grandmother I had ever met! It amazed me that she had trained as a massage therapist and Reiki healer later in life and was right away swept into receiving a massage! I will forever remember the sparkle in her eyes and feel blessed to have known her and her amazing family

My love is everlasting for the mom that was always there for me, right to the end. Teaching me right up to the very last second about something, even if she didn't know she was doing it. I would never change a thing. I am a better person for all of it. I love you Mom, and I will miss you, but I know you left us for a much better place. Take a walk with my Smokey. He loved you so, as I do.

Rick, Beth, and Phyllis, I join others with hearts filled with sympathy for the grief you are suffering today.  There are no adequate words of comfort.  Each time I recall a memory of Aunt Ellen--whether at camp on Oneida Lake, at our home in East Syracuse or yours in Unadilla, or when we were really fortunate for all the cousins to gather at Grandma Woods--I see her smile and hear her endless laughter.  She enjoyed life as God intended.  I must say--every memory also includes a hair cut since my mother always took the opporunity to ask her for that favor!  She never refused.  I still have the beautiful cookbook she gave me years later.  I was so touched and treasure it.  When Ernie, Jean, dad and I attended her 80th birthday party, it was evident that she was truly loved by family and friends in the community.  May your spirits be touched at this vulnerable time by the love of all those who surrounded her and now surround each of you.  Much love.

I looked through pictures to see what I might add.  As Beth knows from my endless request for info, I'm always working on the family tree.  I chose this particular picture because everyone always remarks about how beautiful your mom was.  I hope you enjoy!

So I hadn't been to "grandma's" house in a while. So I surprised her for christmas a couple years ago and while I was clearing off a stack of papers to grab a seat in the shop, I looked up and there it was,"The Sign"." A clean house is the sign of a wasted life!"  I was speechless and just smiled wide.

I know you never wanted to be as old as me grandma and I have to tend to agree. I love and miss you dearly. Thank you for everything!!  (except for the leg warmers)

Love,
Maverick
