Miss Elsie was a big influence in my life. She was such a kind and giving woman that was a blessing to all she touched. She is greatly missed but still is a live in my heart.

I will always remember Miss Elsie as a sweet and kind lady. She has a special place in my heart.

Thank you Elsie, for the legacy of love you left your family , Jim always bragged about you, always spoke lovingly of you and honored you by being such a gentleman.

Mrs. Elsie was an important person in my childhood. I am sadden at the news of her passing. She was a gentle caring person who I will always love. My thoughts and prayers are with the family/

Mom (Elsie) filled a huge hole left in my heart due to the passing of my own mother many years ago. Mom accepted me as a daughter, more than a daughter-in-law. That is just the way she was. More than all of that, she was my friend. We had fun just being together. Additionally, she raised my wonderful husband to be the kindest man I could ever imagine and taught him to be a GOOD man. I am grateful for that. I love you, Mom. The angels are rejoicing at your homecoming.

Aunt Elsie was my daddy, Cliff Mankin, sister and one of my most favorite aunts. When you went down to see Aunt Elsie, you were in for a treat. You were never hungry because she cooked you a feast. You were never bored because she always had surprise for you to do. I know I hadn't got to see her as much of late as I use to but oh she will be missed. We love you Aunt Elsie and always will!
