Emma Akweley Tetteh was born to Mr. Emmanuel Mantey Mensah of Teshie Mantey Tse We and Mrs.Emelia Ayorkor Mensah (Nee Kwei) of Teshie Akoble (deceased) on the 11th of September 1973 at Tema where her mother started her Nursing Profession.She was botn a twin and had a twin brother. She was the first of five children.
