Ade boy, so I call you back then, been far away from Araoti, Yaba for a long while now. Still that flash of you, your youth, your smile was full of confidence despite all odds that tomorrow will always be a better day. Again here in America, going through Ernest profile on facebook, I saw that flash again, just about to send you a friend request, when I saw Ernest shocking words. Ride on..

Snappy....words fail in times like this...sunrises come and go, sunsets come and go...but memories remain constants. still remember our last meeting, last words ..spoken and unspoken,
suffice to say that you touched lives...though you have exited but memories of you will continue to linger..to dominate...to thrill...RIP..my brother.

The news was shocking! you called me on thursday night, and you promised to call back but that did not happen. i have taken solace in the words of our lord Jesus christ," the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice  and come out......" we look forward to the time when death will be no more. Isa 25:8.

Adenrele Abraham aka Snapper was one in a million. He was not only my cousin but also my big bro. He always fondly called me 'aburo'. He was a gentle giant and had the biggest heart I've ever come across. I remember snapper from Herbert Macauly even though I was tiny back then, he made an impression. Snapper made me understand he was always only a phone call away. Any problem or issue I had he tre

Its with so much grief that I put this together as still remember the earlier days of growing up in the early 1980's that we spent together and much of course the later years of adulthood. my consolation is that you are resting peacefully with the lord. I pray that the lord will grant your wife and children that fortitude to bear this loss.

My dear cousin, we have been cheated of many more beautiful moments we all were expecting to continue to share with you. God, has chosen to have your spirit with Him as He continues to guide us all in our journeys on earth. Am deeply saddened, but greatly honored to have known you as my blood and thankful for your generousity and compassion through out our times together. R.I.P

I remember the day I met Denrele,September 21st 2009 it was like I had seen an angel, his smile touched my soul. He was my friend the only person I cud reli call a friend, even wt all the odds against him he was still my hero, I cud call on him to discuss my pains nd he was always redi wt a joke to cheer me up...it was a sad day that he died, I remember once he said to me "Kemmie u wud never forget me no matter wat" truly I can never forget him bcuz he even choose to die on my birthday... Denrele I stil dial ur number wantin to speak to u,I miss u I just don't knw y u had to die, but I guess d good guys don't last too long coz God doesn't want them to get their hands stained. He lived a plain life nd am grateful that he enjoyed his life, nd he had 2beautiful children.am happy I met him nd I don't regret knowing him or any pains he may hav caused me coz they made me stronger its just sad that he has left me to face ths cold world alone. Rest in peace Denrele Abraham ur memory is ever green in my heart...

Ade,
AND SUDDENLY Without any warning, ... Without kissing us goodbye, You heard the inevitable call of death, So you had to comply. Although you seemed to be serenely asleep, We had to bury you beneath the sand. Our beloved Ade, never returning, Far away in a solitary, dark, unknown land. Losing you ADE, has caused a colossal emptiness inside us. A recurring nightmare; haunting us No matter where we hide. An open wound, tenaciously refusing to heal. A crushing tragedy; an excruciating ordeal. But don’t worry Ade, the lord has not forgotten. He has filled us with faith and hope; Enveloped us with his mercy and compassion. For he alone will make a way where there seem to be no way. Life, in essence, is but make-believe. One day life’s illusory barriers, which are keeping us apart, Will crumple and concede. It will be then, Ade that our paths will cross And we shall meet again. We Love You and Miss You.
