Her Life
July 18, 2015

Mrs. Pridmore was born in Elyria, Ohio on November 5, 1930, the daughter of the late Icy Startley Ewing and Robert Ewing. She was a member of the Tarrant Heights Baptist Church. Before her retirement Mrs. Pridmore was employed for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Jefferson County Nursing Home. The love and care she offered her patients greatly enhanced their later years. Anyone who knew her did not have to wait long to find out her opinion on something. She was adamant about what she believed was right, and was not afraid to defend her viewpoint. Her no nonsense approach to child rearing, and the tremendous work ethic that she lived be fore them was what developed her children into the fine adults they are today. Raising six children and a full time job did not afford her much leisure time, but when she could she loved searching for and buying rare dolls. The joys of her life were her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by two daughters: Sherrill and Budd Wright of Franklin, GA and Johnnie Seelbach of Tarrant, AL; one son, Calvin Pridmore of Snead, AL; two sisters: Linda and Buddy Reid of Trafford, AL and Laura Vinson of Cleveland, AL; one brother-in-law, Norman Stallings of Cleveland, AL; eleven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by two daughters: Carolyn Stallings and Nora Deluna; one son, Robert Pridmore; one grandson, Chris Seelbach; two sisters, Jenette Stidham and Lavern Hill; and four brothers: Ellis, Raymond, Calvin, and Pod Ewing.
