Eric Achard Lockwood was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on July 30, 1946. He grew up in Michigan later attending Michigan State Univeristy graduating with two degrees. He served in the US Navy stationed in Oregon and in South Korea. While in Oregon he met and married his wife of 45 years, Vonna Lockwood. They raised their two daughters in Aloha, Oregon. In 2012 Eric and Vonna moved to Utah. Eric Achard Lockwood's final resting place will be in Arizona as he requested to "finish his journey with his wife as planned", where they had always planned on retiring together. He will be burried with honors.
