There is no way NOT to remember Eric...I graduated with Eric and knew both he and his brother, Rick (my maiden name was Loether).

Although I had him in many of my classes, I seem to remember his wrestling days more (probably since my boyfriend was also a wrestler and I ended up going to alot of matches ;) Eric was a true sportsman and put his heart and soul into his matches. Win or lose, he was always a gentleman and a friend to all.

My Disappearance in Chicago

December 3, 2014

My Dad was escorting us back to the states to bring me and my sister to my moms in, milwaukee wi. We flew to Chicago international airport. We took a shuttle train to the parking lot. Some how I got confused and re-entered the shuttle. My dad screamed for me to get off. But before I could the doors closed. I was like 10 or 11 yrs old. I got so scared and thought I would never see them again. Much time had past... I remembered my dad saying stay put if lost. So I did. But didnt think I would see them ever again. After some time there he was.... exiting the shuttle. I ran to him so quick. He truly was my hero that day! I should have never doubted him. He was always saving my behind. He truly was the best person in the world. I am the luckiest SON in the world. I WILL NEVER FORGET HOW GOOD OF A MAN HE WAS, AND FATHER. I LOVE YOU DAD. SAVE A SPOT FOR ME AT THE PERLE GATES!!

                                           LOVE YOUR UNDESERVING SON,

                                                                       CHAD STEEN

Skunk attack

December 3, 2014

I remember one night watching out my window and seeing something moving under our trailer. I got scared and went to wake dad. As soon as he was awake we heard the trash cans banging. So we went outside to check on things and Dad looked in the trash and saw a small skunk got caught in the trash can. He had to call the police and they came out. The guy started to pull his gun out and I started crying and yelling. My dad tried to talk the guy in to waiting a minute but the guy just pulled the trigger and dad was SO upset he began to yell at the guy. He turned to me and explained why it was done and that he was sorry I had to see that. After I calmed down we went in to check on Chad and, MAN DID HE STINK. We laughed so hard because we had to put him in a bath of tomato juice and Chad had no clue why he was waken in the night to have to take a bath! SO I turned to Dad and said, ok I am glad I was outside with you after all!!
