Eric was born in a small town in the south Island of New Zealand. His mother was a very sweet lady, his father of Lebanese decent was a strict but decent family man.

Eric has a brother Victor and two sisters Mavis and Joyce.

Eric was good in sports such as cricket and Rugby, hunting rabbits and loved creating things and fixing things later in life.

Eric worked for the NZ Post office for many years and started off as a postie {mailman} delivering mail on his bike which in those days he was required to blow a whistle at the start of each street, much to the delight of the neighborhood dogs.

Eric moved to Wellington in the 1960's to continue is career where he met his wife (our mother) Gwen. They married in 1968 and moved back to Christchurch to settle there near family.

Eric retired early from the Post office in the late 1980's and 1997 moved to Australia to settle in Brisbane with Gwen near her family.

Eric suffered from a major stroke that occurred in 2000 and in 2007 passed away.

Eric left behind Gwen , his sons Michael and Richard, his grandkids Isabella and Ruby, he was dearly loved and always missed.
