Eric was my closest friend.  We met in April 1999 and became fast friends. In November of 2000 we became roommates and lived in Canoga park CA. After a few years we both entered into relationships but still remained friends. 

Eric was goal oriented man. When he wanted something he would do what ever was needed to make it happen. He learned to drive semi trucks and literally saw the country! 

As tIme goes on we saw less of each other but always kept up by email. 

Eric decided to try something new and packed up and left LA and move to Las Vegas even though he had no family or friends he wanted to become a chef. He secured a job at the Paris hotel and casino at Mon Ami Gabi. When not working eric would jog and workout at the gym

In June of 2016 he began to notice shortness of breath and was diagnosed with pneumonia. He would then visit the hospital 3 times with the last visit going right into ICU. Family and friends gathered at his bedside even though he was on a ventilator and placed in a medically induced coma, family and friends were bedside every day. 

After 19 days in this condition, his family decided to take him off life support and his heart stopped beating at 4:16 in the afternoon of August 7th. 

Eric touched many lives and will be missed by many.
