I'm Proud of my Daughter

May 29, 2015

Words cannot express how wonderful Erin was. She was a sweet daughter, a good friend to her many friends and a generous and giving person. She was much loved by many including her three children, Richie, Kayla and Lucas.

She married young and had Richie and then Kayla. She was a stay at home Mom for several years and she was a devoted and patient mother. She had a talent for sewing and made many dolls, quilts, clothing, curtains and other beautiful things.

Several years later she had Lucas and she had to work. She trained to be a geriatric nurse. She worked in a nursing home for awhile and shortly before her death took care of an elderly blind woman. Wherever she went and whomever she met she left a lasting good impression. She took groceries to and fixed meals for friends in need. She sewed many costumes and clothing. She was a very talented seamstress. And ofcourse she was a super talented violin player.

She was always giving in one way or another. As a daughter she was always good to me and tried to help me whenever she could. Once she told me that when I grew old that she would take care of me. She told me not to worry.

God took her to be with him and his angels and the children in Heaven who need someone like Erin. I know that she is there now.

Erin's Faith

May 17, 2015

When Erin was a baby she was sick a lot. We found out when she was just 3 yrs. old that she had asthma. She was ill about all of the time until she turned 10 yrs. old. I took her to an allergist where she was tested She was put on a lot of medicenes. They didn't help and she got sicker. On many occassions I thought that she was going to just choke or stop breathing. I had been going to church intermittently and I decided to take Erin to the preacher's home. He took Erin aside and asked her if she believed in Jesus and did she believe that Jesus could heal her. She told him yes to both questions. Then he annointed her head with oil and prayed for her. that she would be healed of her sickness. He told me before we left that I should take her medicenes and put them away. When I got home I did just that. Erin was very tired and she went to sleep. The next day she felt better and from that point on she became healthier and healthier and she never took the medicene again.I fully believe that Erin is with God and Jesus now because I know that she never lost her faith.

The beauty of Erin.

Erin was beautiful on the inside as well as outside. She was always generous and loving. Even as a child. When she was little she learned to play the violin. She could read music and also compose it so true was her talent. One year she wrote me a song and played it on her violin for Mother's Day. She always did what she could to help me even after she grew up. She made time for me especially on Mother's Day. There will never be anyone like Erin. She was special and unique.
