This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Ethelyn Maddox, 79 years old, born on February 17, 1935, and passed away on October 15, 2014. We will remember her forever.
So grateful to God that I have had this woman in my life. She was such a good Mother, with a most generous, loving and kind spirit. Her love for everyone , would show in action and words! Love this lady with all my heart, and look forward to the day we meet again!
This lady was one of the kindest dearest ladies I have ever known. She took me and my son into her home and showed us so much love, as if we were her own flesh and blood. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do for some one she loved. The world needs more beautiful people like her...RIP in peace dear friend
Grandma was the most loving and kind woman you would ever meet. She always found the good in people and has influenced me to want to be more like that!! I hate that my kids wont know her, but I just hope I can teach them some of the things that she taught me through the years. I love and miss you everyday and I wish you were here to call and talk to just one more time!
Ethel was an angel. She never knew a stranger and everyone was always welcome in her home. She gave me a set of depression era dinner and glassware as a wedding gift 25 years ago out of her antique shop, and I still have it. I am sorry only now to find out she is gone but we will have a special meal on that dinnerware to celebrate the life of one of the sweetest people on earth.
