As a younger child I saw Uncle Eugene often living kitty corner to them. I can remember him taking me fishing to Lockport with the boys on a few occasions and touring the Lord Selkirk. He would always put the bait on the end of my rod and was very patient always fixing our snags. As a teen I remember one time in particular that he and Aunty Linda took me for ice cream. Just the three of us. While Kevin and I were away on our honeymoon Uncle Eugene, Aunty Linda and my mom were busy finishing off some of our house renos. We were very thankful to come home to such a surprise. He was a simple, quiet man with a kind heart and will be missed.

Thank you for being my Dad.Thank you for the sacrifices that you made.I am now realizing how much sacrifice there was since having my 3 wonderful boys.I wish I would have had them earlier so you could see them grow up.

It's been many years since I've seen Uncle Gene. But I remember his laugh. It was so contagious. When I was younger someone in family said " you sound just like Uncle Eugene. " ❤️ very sorry for your loss.
Diane.
