Her Life
July 9, 2012

Mrs. Eva Nell Jennings was born June 10, 1947 to the late Novella Walker and Raymond Hill in Haralson, Ga.   She joined White Oak Grove Baptist Church at an early age.

Eva was educated in the Coweta County school system where she attended Eastside Elementary and Central High School.  While in school she enjoyed playing sports such as basketball.   She was also known around the community as one of the best cooks.  Eva would never let anyone go hungry because of her caring and giving spirit.   To conclude; one thing that we will never forget about Eva Nell Jennings is that she was full of life, love, and laughter.  When asked she said, "If there is one thing I can say is that I have enjoyed my life to the fullest."   You all have seen me dance but because of God's grace and mercy I now have a new dance and now I am home dancing with my heavenly father.

She leaves to cherish her loving husband; Tommy Robert Carlyle; Her two beautiful daughters, Shandra Jennings and Mr. and Mrs. D'Andre Johnson (Tameika); two sisters, Inellie Tolbert, and Mattie Kendall; one brother, Willie James Walker; three stepdaughters, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Lewis (Wanda), Johnny Sutton (Vivian), Mr. and Mrs. Rod Cook (Erica); two stepsons, Marcelle Carlyle, Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Carlyle (Helen); twelve grandchildren, Quantae', Devonte', Kevion, Quanesha, Coriana, Dezmin, Devin, Dilyn, Davin, Darrious, Kierston, Chasity; a very special godson, Leon Chunn; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
