The Rabbi will be forever missed. He was a tall man beyond his physical frame. He was among the very few that stood out as worthy of the name and title he lived up to. He certainly belonged on a world stage for his gifts and abilities to inspire and lift up those who so badly needed it. He could sure give the other TV ministries a run for the Word. He was truly an artist of the Gospel. Not many can effectively personify and dramatise the Word of God so that even the least could find humor and understand the message.

Forever will be missed as one of the COGSOC and world's under -acknowledged giants. The fond memories live on.

Peace and love.

On earth, a lesser light has gone out; however, in heaven a greater light has appeared when our Rabbi Herbert Lewis showed up. He was a real man of God who talked the talk and walked the walk. He was a man among men.

Truly he worked his calling as a preacher of righteousness. My opinion, he was our T.D. Jakes... he kept it powerful, clear and real. A certain void at the future national gatherings will be felt. And when will feel it, we should know that it is our Rabbi Lewis.

Come on Saints, let's step up!

Peace

someone to look to

February 23, 2015

I was always glad to see Rabbi Lewis.  It was an honor to serve under him on the rabbinical staff.

My first year on the staff, I asked him if he was getting ready to go out to make the report of the Rabbi. He really didn't feel like it so he replied to me, "you do it, you be the Rabbi"  I'm like what?? No way! What's Bishop J.R. Grant is not gonna want to see me out there?  He took me to the side, told me what to do, and the rest is history.

Little did I know that years later I would be doing the very thing that he taught me. Good man and Im glad I knew the Man. God bless him and may He be at rest.

Rabbi...

Whenever I saw him he would always make me laugh.  He would always offer encouragement for my situation.  I will certainly miss him.  He was a pillar in the church and I love him.

May God strengthen the Lewis family.
