Evelyn Carson was born in Carthage MS. to Earnest Primer and Arlean Luckett,  She was raised in Edinburg MS just East of Carthage. Evelyn went school at Old Jordan High. She grow up and married L.C. Carson. Two children were born Nicole Primer Griffin and Lon Carson. Evelyn went church at Cedar Hill CME Church in Camden Ms. The church later emerged into three churches; which became ACH Memorial CME Church. She served on the Usher board and was on the food committee at the Church. Evelyn was employeed with Carthage Corporation for 19 years where she was a machine operator. She was also employed with Sun Sports Apparel in Sebastopol Ms for 7 years until the company closed down. She then became a stay home mom. She became a Avon sells lady for many years. She enjoyed watch "Young and the Restless" and "Days of our Live". Evelyn became ill in 2009. Her illness did not keep her from attending church and particpating on God's program. She had three wonderful grand children, Derrick, Ykiki and Jacoby. She had one son-in-law, Elvis Griffin. Evelyn love the Lord and love helping people. She would go out of her way to help anyone in need. Her love lives on in her children and her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed and will always be remembered. She had the most beautiful smile. The life of an angel God saw he need to take her from her pain and suffering. No one wanted to see her leave but God saw his child was suffering, so he called her home. Even in the last days on her bed, she never complained about her illness. She had faith in God and if she would never be healed, she knew God's will had to be done. She would always say "you may miss your doctor appointment but you will not miss your appointment with God".
