"Evelyn was always such a classy lady. As a young girl, I thought that she was so nice and so beautiful and that one day, I'd be fancy like her. I've missed her in my life and know that she's resting peacefully now. - With Love, La'Shawnda Jordan Kendall"
"Evelyn Amanda is greatly missed already; her smile; the laughter; the quick quips and comebacks; and the funny stories of everyday life occurrences that always had me bent over in laughter. I thank God for her life, for she stepped in the gap at times to demonstrate and instill a sense of sisterhood that is ever present to this day. Perhaps her ship has finally come in, and I pray that it is one that is greater than any worldly riches she could have ever imagined; a place where she can lay down every care of this world. May God bless your sweet soul. Rest in peace Dearest. Teresa Nail Timmons (cousin)."
"Amanda Lane was a beautiful person who I was bless to know many years of my adult life. I will miss her smile and kind words. She was always making sure my clothes were fitting nicely and I was looking nice. Every time I see a red dress I will think of Amanda because red was her color. I will miss Amanda telling me to get a lotto ticket. May you rest in peace going to miss you. Love Tracy"
"I guess our family needed another Guardian Angel and God chose you. I remember it was you that taught me how to drive a stick shift....BTW I never bought an automatic car. Words are never adequate in moments like these. I will always remember the joyous memories that we shared.....May you rest in peace my Dear Aunt. Love Always Teresa Higgins"
"Ms.Amanda Lane she had the most Beautiful smile and a loving and kind Heart she would always come to the Leasing Office and offer the staff something to eat and drink, she was always thinking of someone else and what they needed such a unselfish person. We will truly miss her. But there is a sweet relief in knowing she is safe in arms of Jesus. Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith* in God; have faith also in me. In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to myself, so that where I am you also may be."
"Amanda is what I called her, was one of a kind. She was one of the most sweetest, giving person I have ever known. We worked together at Foley's Department store and also Macy's. I am going to miss her terribly. I am going to miss our weekly conversations and us telling each other if either of us win the lotto we were both going to take care if each other. May you rest in peace my sweet friend. I am going to miss that beautiful smile. Love you, Debra"
