Sister Evelyn Cox Thompson was born September 5, 1950 to the late Deacon and Mrs. Isaac and Almary Cox in Tallapoosa
County, Alabama.

She confessed Christ at an early age and joined New Popular Springs Baptist Church.

Evelyn was preceeded in death by one sister, Gwendolyn Cox followed by a brother, Mr. Joe Curtis Cox.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory: one loving brother, Mr. John D. (Alice) Cox of Dadeville, Alabama; an aunt, Mrs. Lillian (Ted) Williams of Greensboro, North Carolina; uncles, Mr. General (Virginia) Cox, Mr. Bobby G. Cox both of Dadeville, Alabama and Mr. Sanders (Marie) Cox and a very special uncle, Mr. Charles Herron of Dadeville, Alabama; nephews, John D. Cox, Jr., Dwinmane Cox, Rodregeus Cox and Dwight Moss; a very special friend, Angela Turk and a host of cousins and other relatives and
friends.
