Mrs. Fannie L. Brooks of Lanett died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011 at Bethany House in Auburn.

Funeral services are planned for Sunday, Nov. 20 at 3 p.m. at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church in Lanett with Pastor Louis Upshaw officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Lanett.

Public viewing is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 19 from 1 until 6 p.m. at Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel in Valley.

Mrs. Brooks is survived by four adopted children, Shavario Brooks, who was her caregiver, of Lanett, Angela (Monta) Williams and Joy Brooks, both of Valley, and Jerome Brooks of Montgomery; three grandchildren, Zion Brooks, Kencherla (K.Z.) Williams and Heaven Brooks; two stepsisters, Maudie (James) Taylor of Lanett and Barbara Wilson of Roanoke; one stepbrother, the Rev. N. Reynolds of Anniston; four sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law; and other loving relatives and friends.

miss you an I think of you everyday.. I fmd peace knowing you're ip there with Heaven ... i feel like shes not up there alone..
I remember the things you taught me..I keep them in my heart .. I miss. You .. I love u...but I know you're watching over me bc sometimes at my lowest points I feel your presence
