Her Life

Farrah Fawcett

July 20, 2013

Farrah Fawcett was voted "most beautiful" by her classmates all four years at W.B. Ray High School.

She went on to the University of Texas where a photo of her was sent to Hollywood.

An agent saw it an invited Farrah to go to Hollywood.

In 1968, she made the move.

Farrah appeared in commercials and had small roles in TV shows.

People started asking who that beautiful girl is.

In 1976, Farrah won the role of Jill Munroe on the TV show Charlie's Angels.

She soon became an icon and her hairstyle was copied by women around the world.

Farrah was on more magazine covers than anyone else in the 1970s.

In fact, Farrah's face was on so many covers that one magazine that did not have pictures of Farrah announced on its cover that: "There are no pictures of Farrah Fawcett in this issue."

Farrah went on to a successful movie career.

She died in 2009 from cancer.
