"Not a day goes by I go without missing you. I talk to you mostly every night. I am still angry you are gone. Yet, I have designated you the job of guardian angel to my youngest Lucas. When I think of you I remember our childhood years, your birthday parties, the times we played in the back yard on that homemade tire swing you had. I also remember when as teens, we would speak of our dreams. Your smile, your strength, your determination, and positive attitude always left a mark in my heart. When I was in a coma, I saw you, you called out my name and waved, I didn't know you were gone until months later. I cry and hurt for you. When I think of the times I planned on coming out to visit you but things happened which never allowed it to happen. You are my cousin, my buddy, my heart and soul. I love you forever. Thank you for being YOU, and for being apart of my life. I MISS YOU!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!! I WANT YOU BACK HERE, I WANT TO SEE YOU SMILE AND JUST SIT NEXT TO YOU!!!! I AM SO SORRY YOU ARE GONE!!! TALK TO YOU SOON."

I am still angry because it's NOT fair. You have a beautiful heart, caring soul, a believer in dreams, silly at times, unique in every way. In 15 days it will be 2 years since you left us. You will ALWAYS be loved, honored, and remembered. You are my Lucky's guardian angel. I'm so very proud of the man you have become. We shared great memories as kids and teenagers. "Coach V. was an amazing man. I only knew him a couple of months ,  but it took me only a week to realize that he was a great,  humble man. He wasn't like much other coaches , he understood us . He treated us like men, not boys. He would joke around with us a lot. He would talk to us like on of his friends. He would always say something that would make my day, or make me happy in general. Coach V was awesome. God took him,  but his lessons are being taught to the angels ,  where they belong,  he is making heaven even better. He is seated at the right hand of The Lord. He is making the angels smile, and he is making God realize he took an amazing man. Coach is watching over us, all of us, keep that in mind when you would do something bad. Think to yourself 'What would Coach V think of me?'. God has given and taken a gift from us, yet put it in a better place.  JagsOn3 VTheBest"

"Felix was the coolest, sharpest, most quietly intelligent, fun-loving colleague I ever had.  He was the kind of teacher who gets kids to do amazing things - without making them think they're hauling sandbags up an endless hill.  He found the "wow" in everything.  I'm shocked that he's gone and am befuddled by it.  I can still see that smile, that chuckle, that ease with which he took on any challenge.  He will be missed."

""Don't Grieve For Me"

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free;
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call;
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way;
I found that place at the close of day.

If my parting has left a void,
then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss;
Ah yes, these things, I too, will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow;
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much;
Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief;
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me;
God wanted me now, He set me free.

The joy of his hugs. The joy of his being. But most importantly, the joy he brings to my heart. I'm so saddened by the loss of this incredible man, but I want to celebrate his life.  When I whisper his name, or remember his smile, or remember a funny joke he told me, or remember his laugh, I will celebrate his gift of joy and keep his memory close to my heart. "I remember being on the courts playing b-ball. Great skills and spin moves were sick. Us all hanging and kicking it tough back then! Wow! This is crazy!  I know God has special place for you in heaven for my boy! You were and are, that special type of soul that people connected totally with. That souI that will never be forgotten by me or anyone that came in contact with you. I know we lost touch after high school. As alot of us go our way. But no matter what you were always family. And forever have a place  connected like brothers. News like this is not easy for us that know you. I pray that God heals those that shed tears (family, girlfriend, friends). May you Rest in Peace Fe! Until we meet again bro."

"I feel like my childhood just got rocked! Felix, you've left an indelible mark on me. There isn't enough time in existence to erase the affect you've had on me. Many seek relevance in their life experiences to establish a value in who they are and what they hope to become, but Felix, you're the kind of guy one just wanted to be like from first experience. Too much time passed since the last time I shook your hand; laughed at your wit; and told you what a great guy you are and have always been. I knew I'd have the opportunity to do so some day soon. My regret isn't that I didn't get to say goodbye; rather, I failed to just say hi. Life seems fragile now! You were taken too soon!!! May Allah be pleased with you."
