Я каждыи вечер жду звонка и стука в дверь,
Но ты приходишь лишь во сне теперь,
Такой же радостный, веселый, безмятежный,
Такой же добрый,заботливый и нежный
Любим,помним,скорбим.

It’s been a year since You passed away
the way we miss You is different now,
we hope You know
how much You meant to us.
Since Your Soul is now in Heaven
there’s a little bit of Heaven in our home.
We still think about You everyday,
we just love and miss You
in our own special way.
Our paths will cross again
until that time we remain,
Your ever-loving family…
To know him was to love him…
Words cannot describe the love, selflessness, courage, support, guidance, and strength our beloved Fimochka possessed.
“Kak dela? Kak vsegda, harasho, ludshe vseh!” That was a perfect example of a man who didn’t want anyone to know his pain and anyone to feel one bit of sorry for him.
Fimochka loved three things more than anything in his life: his family, his casino, and salo (“Koshernoe…”) Every single memory I have of ‘moy lubov’ is one of happiness, laughter, and pure love. He loved with all of his heart and taught each of us that nothing is more important than family. He touched so many people’s lives and was loyal to every person whose path he crossed. A true man! He loved lobsters, he loved beer, he loved casino, he loved his children, he loved his wife, he loved his grandkids, he loved his central cab taxi business and had so much fun with it, he loved everyone who worked for him, he loved cruises, he loved Mila’s borsht “kak vino…”, he loved playing Preferance at 6 o’clock in the morning, an worked until his last breath to support each of us.
What he went through: each hardship and each beautiful moment reminds us that he truly lived a full and complete life.
His memory is bigger than life but he will always live in our hearts. Fimochka ya budu rabotyat i lubit tak kak ti menya vsegda uchil, ot vsyvo mayovo sertze. Den pered evo smeri on nashei milachke skazal bozhe-moy, kak ya tebya lublu, ti maya zolotaya. Yi etah pravdah, tak kak nash Fimochka lubil nekto ne mog lubit. Ti vsegda s nami…
