Her Life
March 24, 2014

Mrs. Chancellor was born in Franklin, Georgia on February 23, 1960, the daughter of the late Beulah Mae Whittington Laster, and Joseph Phillip Nutt. Before the onset of her poor health she was employed as a seamstress for the Private Line Manufacturing Company. She was a member of the Centralhatchee Baptist Church. Mrs. Jean loved gardening, with a special preference to beautiful flowers. She was a good cook who enjoyed cooking for her family. Even though she was not blessed with children of her own she loved her nieces and nephews, and they felt she was a second mother to all of them. She had two little dog children, (Fred and Ethel) who adored her. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by three sisters, Linda Harrell of Carrollton, GA., Brenda Anderson (James) of Centralhatchee, GA., and Jane Wiggins also of Centralhatchee, GA.; one brother, Buddy Nutt (Julie) of Franklin, GA.; special friend of ten years, Thomas Golden; and a number of adoring nieces and nephews.
