Nanny's Obituary

This is Nanny's obituary as it will appear in the Marin Independant Journal on December 29th, 2015:

Frances Jean Baumann passed away on Dec 11, 2015 after a brief illness.  She was born at home on April 2, 1919 in Oakland CA. 
At the age of 19 she married, Carl A. Evans, the love of her life.  They were married until Carl passed away in 1958. 
Her second husband, Woodrow C. Baumann pre-deceased her as well.  Nanny, as her family knew her was a dedicated health care
manager and a devoted and caring mother to her children; Barbara Bedecarrax (Michael), Ron Evans (Sue), Gary Evans, and
Rick Evans (who predeceased her last year), grandmother to her 13 grand children, 16 great-grand children and
6 great great-grand children and aunt to many loving nieces and nephews.  She will be greatly missed by her younger sister,
Betty Morelli and the rest of her family.  A memorial service will be held on Jan 16th at 12:00 o'clock at the Lucas Valley
Community Church, 2000 Las Gallinas Avenue in San Rafael, CA to honor her life.

Nanny was born on April 2, 1918 in Oakland California to Franklin Palmer and Marguarite Palmer nee Clary.

She grew up with her sisters, Lavaughn, Fern and Betty and brothers LeRoy and Eldon.

She married Carl Almer Evans on January 7, 1938 in Lemoore California.  Carl passed away in Ross, California.

In March of 1963 she married Woodrow Casper Baumann, Woodie, who passed away on October 28th 1978.

She lived much of her adult life in San Francisco, Alameda and Marin counties.

Her children are:

Barbara Bedecarrax
Ronnie Evans
Gary Evans
Richard Evans (deceased)

She leaves many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She is missed by all but leaves behind loving memories.
