Mrs.  Frances  Pound Sheeley  was born in Millerville, Alabama to the late Mr. Otis Frank Pounds and Mrs. Josie Simmons. She was married to the late Mr. Ulsy Sheeley.

She confessed to Christ at an early age and joined Roseline  Baptist Church in Millerville,  Alabama.  She later moved her membership to Shady Grove Baptist Church.

She  was  preceded  in death  by  her husband,  Ulsy Sheeley. Father  and mother, Mr. Otis Frank  Pounds and Mrs. Josie Simmons Pounds. Two sisters: Gladys Marbury and Earnestine Pounds Wyckoff. Two brothers: Mr. John Edward Simmons and Mr. Willie J. Simmons.

Mrs. Frances was called to rest on February 17, 2012 at her home in Jackson's Gap, Alabama.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Three daughters: Mrs. Jeanette Sheeley Jackson Gap, AL; Ms. Josephine McFarlely  of  Dadeville,  AL  and Mrs. Patricia Crayton (Earnest) of Jackson Gap, AL Two sons, Mr. Eulas Calvin (Janice) Sheeley of Birmingham,  AL, Mr. Eric (Kathleen) Sheeley of Lincoln, AL. Brothers-in-law, Elvester Wyckoff of New York, NY and Richard (Olivia) Shealey of Goodwater, AL. Sisters-in-law, Peggy Shealey and Mrs. Santina Shealey, both of Goodwater. Eleven  grandchildren, seven  great  grandchildren,  a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
