Francis Chukwuma Duru was born on July 9, 1974 to Late Dr. Eugene & Late Mrs. Veronica Duru (The most loving parents in the whole wide world). Francis is the second of three children. 

Francis (fine boy, no pimples) attended Fountain Primary School Suru-lere, then was off to Federal Government College Ijankin, after which he studied Physics at the University of Ibadan.  A founding member of the gentleman's club 'Quo Vadis Domine' QVD. He went on to study Petroleum Engineering at Pennslyvania State University. He was a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. After gaining work experience in the United States, he was appointed an Executive Director at Underwater Engineering, Nigeria and rose to the rank of Managing Director to date. 

Francis, a true gentleman, a private person who lived life vivaciously. A brilliant mind, an articulate writer,  always impeccably dressed, complete with a big smile and an infectious laugh. He has friends from every walk of life, no one too big or too small, too old or too young. He loves to cook gourmet meals with the freshest of ingredients. Francis, with his great smile and infectious laughter that we will all miss. 

Francis is survived by his sibings, Chinwe and Emmanuel. His memories will live on forever. #memories #francisduru4ever
