Frank Thomas Hobgood, 81 a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Granville Medical in Oxford.
A native of Granville County, the son of the late James E. and Janie Daniel Hobgood and step-mother Hazel Ford Hobgood. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church, retired from the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford and was Past Master of Oxford Lodge # 122.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 6, 2012 in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford by Dr. Randy Pittman and Rev. Keith Williams. Burial will be in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Surviving is a daughter, Donna H. Robertson (David) of Raleigh, two sons, Frank T. Hobgood, Jr. (Jill), Michael Wayne Hobgood (Debbie), both of Oxford, Step-children, William Mark Price (Vickie), Freda P. Brown, Penny Whitlow, Chad E. Price, 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two sisters, Janie Frances Turner of Charlottesville, Va, Linda Wayne Hobgood of Oxford.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 6, 2012 in the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and other times at the home of Wayne and Debbie Hobgood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Frank T. Hobgood may be made to the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford, 600 College Street, Oxford, North Carolina 27565.
