Frank Lynn Aldridge, 83, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 22, 2013 at his home in Hobe Sound, Florida. He was born on June 16, 1930 in New Bern, North Carolina to Edward and Catherine Aldridge. Frank grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where he met and married Helen Patricia Collier, his wife of thirty-five years.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife and parents, as well as his brothers, Edward and Donald Aldridge.

Frank is survived by three children, Frank Aldridge, Jr. of Walland, Tennessee, David Aldridge and wife Candy of Hobe Sound, Florida, and Linda O'Brien and husband David of Kennebunk, Maine; a sister, Mary Katherine Ferrari and husband Leo of Falls Church, Virginia; a brother, Thomas Aldridge and wife Jeanette of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; and five grandchildren, David and Steven Aldridge, and Deirdre, Tara, and Patrick O'Brien. Frank is also survived by his loving companion of twenty-six years, Janice Gutteridge of Jupiter, Florida, and her family.

After serving in the U.S. Navy, Frank attended IBM's computer school in Endicott, New York where he received advanced training in computer and information technologies. In 1968, Frank established his own company, Logic Systems Corporation in Jupiter, Florida. He served as president of Logic Systems until he retired in 1993. Frank was a long time resident of Hobe Sound, Florida. He enjoyed boating, gardening and computers. He spent many hours building and repairing computers for his entire family.
