We all miss you, your smile is a Memory to everyone who knew you and your Grandson Ross carries on your handsome Looks and Kind nature forever following in your footsteps on his road of life.
God Bless Frank xxxx
Frank and I attended Enderby infant school, Frank would have been 4 years old and I would have been 5 years and 9 months old.
It was hard having no mum but our sisters kept us in line.
As we lived at St Johns we had to go across the fields to school. In one of the fields lived a tramp in his old caravan, we were told if he caught you he took you to his caravan and you were never seen again.
Each day we would climb over the fence into the field, have a good look each way and then holding hands would run as fast as we could acrosss the field. Sometimes when it was raining or had been raining we would be a bit muddy so we would try to clean our shoes in a puddle.
Going back was not so bad as I used to be a very good marble player so having won marbles off the posh kids I would sell them back again for a few pennies. This meant Frank and I could call at the shop and buy a few sweets before our marathon run back across the fields.
