Frankie Bowling Morris, 86, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011 at her residence.

A native of Granville County, the daughter of the late Norman Rosco and Eula Taylor Bowling.  She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a retired Healthcare Supervisor at Murdoch Center.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 5th 2011 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church by Rev. Keith Williams.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving are her daughters, Hazel M. Autrey and Mary M. Newton, Dorothy M. Adcock, all of Rougemont, Frances M. Roberts of Bahama, five sisters, Mary Jacobs of Butner, Gracie Turnage of Raleigh, Geraldine Teasley of Bahama, Margie O’Neil of Holden Beach, Eunice Blackwell of Durham, three brothers, Willis Bowling of Rougemont, Travis Bowling of Durham, Jim Bowling of Lake Gaston, eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy B. Wagner and brother Danny Ray Bowling.

Visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:00 AM, December 5th 2011 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
