She joined Springfield Baptist Church in Hogansville, Georgia at an early age. She graduated from West End High School.  She attended Cosmetology School where she became a licensed beautician for over forty years.  She joined in Holy matrimony to Mr. Millege Ragland.  She retired from Southern Mills in Senoia, Georgia.  She was a resident of LaFayette Nursing Home for over ten years.   

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Clara Wilkerson Sanders and Frank Harden; husband, Mr. Millege Ragland; brother, Forest Jenkins; step-daughter, Mary Ragland; step-son, Bob Ragland.   She leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Joe Arnold; her brothers, Riley and Jerome Anderson, Charlie Sanders; step-son, Alfred Ragland, Sr.; a host of grandchildren, great grand children, great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
