Well, it will soon be Christmas again and I still miss my wonderful husband and wish more every day that I could see him again and feel his strong arms around me once more or see him visiting with his children or neighbors.....He was truly a man of many talents and he liked to share whatever he could make or grow with everyone that he knew and loved.....One of his favorite things to say was "Thank God for Jesus" and now he is with Him in heaven.....I think that he would be so proud of all of his children and his grandson and granddaughters.....We all loved him so and still do with all of our hearts

I know my dad is truly missed by many, many people. Family and friends both loved him for many reasons. His silly sense of humor and funny stories. His willingness ro help out wherever he could. His generosity with gifts from the bounty of his garden. He always made everyone feel welcome and at ease. Teaching something he found interesting, talking, laughing, visiting on the porch swing, drinking coffee as strong as he could get it. These things and many more are what I loved about him and miss so much. I know I will see him again because God gives us this hope in his word, at Acts 25:15. "And I have hope toward God.....that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous."
