Mrs. Geneva H. Tucker was born July 9, 1928 in Meriwether County, GA, to the late Abran and Verna Harris McCall.  She departed this life on September 5, 2016.

Geneva joined St. Paul C.M.E. Church at an early age, where she served as a faithful and devoted member of the Missionary Society, choir and kitchen committee until her health declined.

In her earlier years she worked several jobs.  She enjoyed cooking, baking cakes, gardening, growing flowers, fishing, gospel music and most of all she loved the Lord.

Geneva is preceded in death by one son, James E. Gates; four brothers; and one sister.

She was married to the late Willie E. Hines.  To this union two children were born.  She later married Richard Tucker, Sr., who preceded her in death.

To cherish her memory, her loving children, daughter Georgia (Oscar) Hines; son Konrad (Margie) Hines; daughter-in-law, Barbara Gates; step children, Richard (Barbara) Tucker, Jr., Lunia Mitchell and Ola M. Mitchell.  She leaves two brothers, Ellis McCall and Lorenzo (Mollie) McCall; one sister, Verleda (Ernest) Mitchell; two sister-in-laws, Christine McCall and Frances Blount; one aunt, Marie Harris.  She leaves five grandchildren, Kimberly (Orlando) Rogers, Kenzel Hines, LaTonya (Anthony) Lewis, Shamika Hines, Marcus Gates, a special step grandson, Marion (Sheria) Mitchell, Jr.; and special niece Bonita Tinsley; along with a host of step grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
