George Brooks was more than my grandfather he was someone I considered to be a friend. Papa had his way of showing every one of his friends and family that he cared about each and every one of us. I remember so many good things about my grandfather. He used to always make biscuits with grandma every morning before I had to get on the school bus, he loved my bus drivers and loved making people smile. I love my grandfather more than people know.Papa used to pick me up from school when I was sick sometimes and most of the time he knew I wasn't sick, he'd ask and ask me to tell him but when I did he always kept his promise to not tell my daddy. I remember riding in his old truck to town, all of us meeting at mcdonalds for biscuits and him just being apart of our lives. Even though we may have had our ups and downs he will always be apart of me and someone I will never forget. He was a great man and is truly missed. He was such a good grandpa he had a special bond to each of his granchildren and we all will miss him but will rejoice the time we have had the chance to spend with him and keep the positive in mind. I love you papa and you will never be forgotten! Rest in peace. We will all meet again when the good lord is ready.
