George was the love of my life.We were together for 22 years, but we were friends since childhood. George was an amazing fiance', father, and grandfather. He really loved his grandson Allen and his granddaughter Trinity more than life itself. He always worked to support us, no matter what the weather was like, he was always out there doing roofing and carpentry. I will always love George forever

George was my life..We were together for 22 years and we started off as friends when we were kids. George was always at my house growing up, he was always part of my family. He was best friends with my brother Ricky. I never knew my life would change this much after losing George. I don't know what to do or where to go because we were always together. He was a hard worker in roofing and carpentry. He never wanted to take a day off whether he was sick or injured, he always went to work. He always made sure we had food, a place to live and that all the bills were paid on time. If someone needed something George would always be there for them. He always volunteered to help people with their roofs or anything that needed to be fixed on their house and he never asked for money. He volunteered for 3 days helping Ty Pennington and the rest of Extreme Makeover Home Addition build a house for a family in Bridgeport, Ct. George was the best person I knew. We had many problems in the past but we always worked them out. I really don't know what happened this time to make George leave me forever. We were getting along fine, but 3 days before he committed suicide he was crying alot and I never seen George cry before. I really wish I knew what he was thinking and I really wish I was able to get to him in time to help him. So now I've been living with so much regret. Everyday is still difficult. I try to get on with life but I am so lost without George that there are times where I feel like I'm gonna isolate myself from the rest of the world again. I go to counseling because it seems to be the only thing that can help me right now..I will always love George for the rest of my life and he will never be replaced or forgotten..Rest in Peace George Robert Schwab..7/9/65-6/6/12..
